Natalee Harris

Director

Natalee is a founding member of Platform Tax & Consulting, and currently acts as the firm's Tax Partner. Natalee has a variety of experience working with small and medium sized enterprises across a number of industries. Natalee received a Master of Taxation from University of Denver and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas Tech University. She is a licensed CPA in the state of Utah and Colorado.

Nate Mendenhall

Senior Tax Manager

Nate has worked at various accounting firms with 15 years of experience. He has experience with serving small to mid-size business and their owners with various tax and accounting needs. Nate received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and an MBA from Utah State University. Nate is a licensed CPA in the state of Utah. Nate is married and has six very active children

Guy V. Morris

Principal

Guy comes to Platform as a result of the merger of the firm Morris, Dredge & Company. He has 35 years’ experience serving small businesses and their owners. A life-long resident of Salt Lake City, he received an MBA and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Utah. He is passionate about helping business owners use their financial statements as tools for decision making and loves to analyze financial statements to discover ways to improve a business. Guy states that marrying his wife and best friend, Jane, is his greatest accomplishment and is proud of his four children, their spouses and ten grandchildren. Outside of the office he loves to fool trout with his own hand tied flies.

Jeff Dredge, CPA

Director of Accounting Services

Jeff leads the firms Accounting Services segment where he is focused on the development of the firm’s accounting services offering, associated trainings and implementations. Jeff has worked with small businesses in establishing and utilizing accounting systems for over 30 years. Jeff is an avid outdoorsmen and adventurer. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University and is a licensed CPA in the state of Utah.

Betty Williams

Principal

Betty joined the Platform team in December, 2018 when D. Spencer Nilson & Associates, APC became part of the Platform family. She received her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Utah in 1979 and has worked in public accounting since 1980. Betty's experience has primarily involved services to individuals, trusts and small-to-medium sized businesses. She values the long-term client relationships cultivated over many years. She enjoys helping others and has been a volunteer for local non-profit organizations, such as animal welfare groups and the Friends of the Library.

Mark Nilson

Emeritus Principal

Mark attended the University of Utah and graduated from the LDS Business College. He started working with his father's accounting firm in 1971. He joined Platform in 2018 as his firm merged with Platform Tax. He is excited to be part of Platform Tax and Consulting and looks forward to continue assisting his clients with their tax reporting and accounting needs.

Richard W. Dewey

Richard is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Utah and has been assisting business owners, individuals, and the internationally mobile community with their US income tax planning and compliance since 2003. Most of Richard’s experience has been working with serial entrepreneurs, restauranteurs, contractors, real estate moguls, and individuals working internationally. Countries of combined expatriate and inpatriate experience include Argentina, Australia, Canada, China, Colombia, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, and Uruguay. Richard obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Utah Valley University, summa cum laude, and a Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University. Richard enjoys all things outdoors and visits Yellowstone once or twice each year.

Debbie Katter

Tax Advisor

Debbie graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Science in Accounting with an emphasis in Taxation. Debbie has over 10 years’ experience working in Tax and Accounting fields and joins Platform with Morris & Dredge where she worked as a Tax and Accounting specialist. In addition to Tax, Debbie has also worked as an Adjunct Instructor for the Accounting Department at Salt Lake Community College. When not at work, Debbie enjoys spending time with her five children and taking long walks. She also enjoys playing the piano and as a classically trained pianist, enjoys studying and learning new pieces by classical composers.

Stephanie Beaton, CPP

Payroll Specialist

Stephanie is a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) and a member of the American Payroll Association (APA). Stephanie has over 20 years of working in the payroll field and enjoys providing exceptional customer service to all her clients. She enjoys spending time with her family and the outdoors when not in the office.

Trevor Dredge

Business Advisor

Trevor has been working towards a degree in Accounting, from Western Governors University, while being a full-time employee at Morris and Dredge, as an Accounting Specialist. Trevor is a Certified QuickBooks Pro-Advisor and has experience in various accounting software. Continuing his goal to become a managerial accountant. Trevor also has a love for the outdoors, and his pet dog named Archer.

Cathy Zesiger

Business Advisor

Cathy joined the Platform team in January 2021, when Morris & Dredge merged with Platform Tax. She loves her position as an Accounting/QuickBooks Specialist. Cathy is a Certified QuickBooks Pro-Advisor. She has worked in accounting since her first job at 15 and is excited to combine her years of practical experience to provide exceptional service to the clients of Platform Tax. Cathy’s responsibilities include overseeing clients’ transition to QuickBooks, ongoing training and support, and preparation of financial statements. Building relationships with clients, while providing accurate, timely information and assistance, makes her job fulfilling.Cathy studied Marine Biology and Accounting at BYU-Hawaii and the University of Utah and has worked in various accounting positions ever since. When not at work, Cathy spends her time exploring with her husband in their RZR, gardening, and anything involving her grandkids.

Danielle Bird

Office Manager

Dani began her career with a predecessor EA firm that joined the Platform family in 2015. She has over eight years of managing the day-to-day doings of independent accounting firms. She currently oversees multiple internal processes and workflows and handles all Accounts Payable for the Salt Lake City office. Her and her family reside in Herriman, Utah.

Amy Morris

Office Manager

Amy has worked in the accounting field for over five years assisting with office management, bookkeeping, and tax. Amy graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Communications from Utah State University in 2010. Go Aggies! Since graduating from USU, Amy has worked as an administration assistant at Workman Nydegger Patent Law Firm, a program coordinator of the New Student Orientation Program at USU, and as the office care associate at Morris & Dredge, CPAs. She is excited to be joining the Platform Tax & Consulting team. When not in the office Amy enjoys hiking, teaching dance, and spending time with family and friends.

Lacey Hayes

Administrative Assistant

Lacey opens the line of communication between clients, customers, and businesses to get projects done. She is obsessed with staying organized and making everyone’s life easier. She brings an extensive background of over 20 years in customer service from the restaurant, retail, and corporate environments. She is excited to bring these experiences and enthusiasm to the team at Platform Tax and our clients. Lacey loves spending time with her family, friends & creating art that lives around the world.
